The LS51.2ZBLACK is a two temperature zone model and has two separate compartments for red and white wines. The operating temperatures are 5 - 12C in the upper zone and 12 - 18C in the lower zone which are controlled by an electronic thermostat. This unit is intended to be used as a freestanding model, which means it requires 2 - 3 inches around the back and sides of the unit for adequate ventilation - it should never be enclosed from above.
